Anekanta Consulting achieves the IASME Governance Standard

Anekanta Consulting has achieved the new IASME Governance Standard* which includes the UK Government’s NCSC Cyber Essentials Certification.

The certification adds quality and assurance to Anekanta’s growing list of certifications and approvals.

Following a strict self-certification process, Anekanta Consulting achieved compliant status for all aspects of its cybersecurity management policies which under the Cyber Essentials framework, require strict controls over computer, server and router equipment and access to networks. These controls include BYOD (Bring you own device) devices which present an increasing challenge to cyber security and GDPR compliance for the hybrid workplace. We are delighted that our remote team has demonstrated compliance with both standards through our internal audit processes. All employees, Statutory Directors, contractors, partners and supply chain must confirm compliance with Anekanta Consulting’s cybersecurity and GDPR policies.

*About the IASME Governance Standard

The IASME Governance standard was developed over several years during a government funded project to create a cyber security standard which would be an affordable and achievable alternative to the international standard, ISO 27001.

The IASME Governance standard allows the small companies in a supply chain to demonstrate their level of cyber security for a realistic cost and indicates that they are taking good steps to properly protect their customers’ information. The IASME Governance assessment includes a Cyber Essentials assessment and GDPR requirements and is available either as a self assessment or on-site audit.
