Be responsible and de-risk your AI facial recognition software deployments

Our Facial Recogniton Privacy Impact Risk Assessment System™ contains a sub-set of our wider capability.

Anekanta® AI have developed a number of independent, vendor agnostic AI governance frameworks expertly designed to assess the safety of high-risk AI and the impact on stakeholders.

Our AI Governance Framework for Boards was published in the IoD‘s ‘AI in the boardroom‘ business paper, and our AI Risk Intelligence System for biometrics and high-risk AI has already received global recognition; and has been featured in the UK Government Department for Science Innovation and Technology, CDEI Portfolio of AI Assurance Techniques.

AI facial recognition software is a high-risk AI which generates facial biometric-based data from images and automatically performs a comparison between the captured face data and data procured legally and ethically, and held on an authorised database. To perform the comparison function, the AI is trained using diverse data sets of facial images to result in unbiased similarity scores which may then be used to activate other systems, or by trained operators to make decisions, dependent on the use case.

There are many different legal and ethical approaches to biometric processing dependent on the region, state or city where you operate. To address these differences, Anekanta®Consulting created a global database of biometric laws and its sister brand Anekanta®AI, developed a software system which automatically performs a risk assessment and provides a risk score dependent on the application together with possible mitigations which may reduce the risk.
