ISO Consultant – Artificial Intelligence

Jeff has worked with organisations to increase their knowledge in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) to include awareness of the risk of deepfake videos resulting in a revised business communication strategy. Furthermore to introduce an AI powered contract review process reducing the amount of time to review contracts by 90%.

Jeff is a member of the UK Government AI All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) which focuses on the EU AI Act to ensure organisations implement AI reasonably and fairly. Jeff has gained certificates for the MIT AI Implications for Business Strategy course, and the BSI provided ISO 42001 Lead Implementer and ISO42001 Lead Auditor courses. He has undertaken additional courses to attain the ISO 42001 Lead Auditor Practitioner certification.

Jeff supports Anekanta®’s ISO 42001 and EU AI Act preparation projects helping organisations build firm foundations for AI governance and compliance. Additionally, Jeff is one of the delivery team for Anekanta®’s CPD certified ‘AI in the Boardroom’ literacy and governance programme for boards.

Experienced ISO Consultant

Jeff has over 20 years’ experience working with information security. Jeff aligned one of the UK’s largest disability charity organisations (Leonard Cheshire Disability) to ISO 7799 (as it was to become ISO 27001) to ensure critical processes were documented and followed and also the Security Policies and Procedures were known to all staff. He then joined credit reference agency TransUnion (previously Call Credit) where he initially assisted in the readiness preparation phase to certify 5 group organisations under a single ISO 27001 certificate. He then managed the ISMS and coordinated surveillance visits, internal audits and document management amongst other activities.

Jeff then transitioned over in 2010 to become a consultant working with multiple organisations across the globe to guide them through their own compliance journeys and beyond. Working with Rolls Royce, Vocalink BACS and cash machines transactions, Correla energy platforms, Digicell – a major telephony and mobile network provider in Southern America and the Caribbean, Teleperformance – a global call centre provider, Pokerstars (Stars Group) – the world’s largest online gambling company, Barratt Home Pensions, Mastercard, Barclays, Lloyds, Capita, Fredrickson Internation Ltd debt recovery, Lowells debt collection agency, GE Energy, HP and many more.

Public Speaker

Jeff is a regular public speaker recently part of a panel session on the subject of “UK AI Private Sector Development and Opportunities for Global Cooperation” where he highlighted the need for AI compliance to teams in London and Armenia. He also co presented at the Capital Markets Data Summit for a debate on whether AI governance and compliance is stifling or assisting AI adoption. Additionally he has taken part in multiple webinars to showcase the synergy between ISO 27001 and ISO 42001. These have covered various sectors from charity, finance, energy. He has also created a Q&A video and white paper on the synergy between the EU AI Act and ISO42001.
